Gili Islands Snorkeling Trips

About Gili Snorkel Trips (GST)

The crew behind your snorkeling & islands hopping tour

Who Are We?

Gili Snorkel Trips is a locally owned and operated snorkeling tour company based in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. Our team was born and raised in the Gili Islands. We’ve been swimming with turtles, exploring coral gardens, and navigating the tides since we were kids. The ocean isn’t just where we work, it’s our home.

What began as casually guiding friends and hotel guests has now grown into one of the most trusted snorkeling tour providers in the Gili Islands, welcoming hundreds of happy travelers from all over the world each year.

Our Story

We started Gili Snorkel Trips with a simple goal, to share the beauty of our islands while protecting the reefs for future generations. Our crew is certified, trained, and passionate about marine conservation. We know every reef, current, and turtle hangout like the back of our hand, and we’ll take you there safely, with smiles all the way.

From Turtle Point, to the famous underwater statues, to the colorful coral gardens, we design our tours so you see the best of the Gili Islands, whether it’s your first time snorkeling or your tenth.

Meet the Crew Behind Your Adventure

Naufal

The Booking Guy & Tech Support

The guy who makes sure your trip is perfectly planned before you even step onto the boat. Naufal is our go-to IT support and booking guy, if something needs fixing (from your reservation to our GoPro), he’s already on it. Fun fact, he can troubleshoot a laptop and tie a boat knot at the same time.

Saimi

The Boat Captain

Born and raised in the Gilis, Suhaimi knows every current, reef, and secret snorkeling spot like the back of his hand. As our trusted boat captain, he’s the reason you’ll glide smoothly across the turquoise waters. Bonus, he can navigate the sea in his sleep, but don’t worry, he won’t.

Mamat

The Underwater Paparazzi

Our snorkeling guide and resident photo genius, Mamat is famous for going the extra mile (and extra dive) to get you the perfect underwater shot. Whether it’s you and a turtle or you pretending to high-five a statue, he’ll capture it. Guests call him “the guy who can swim faster than fish”.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We believe that snorkeling in the Gili Islands should be as kind to the ocean as it is exciting for you. That’s why we:

  • Avoid anchoring on coral reefs
  • Educate guests on respectful marine life interaction
  • Partner with local reef and turtles protection initiatives
